UPDATE AND EDIT
And it's happened to my fellow deviant and founder of my group.www.mizonews.net/mizoramnews/5…
I've only just started to fully recover from the news of the murdered French cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo, which I am sure anyone will be very shocked over but something else very, very terrible has happened closer to my home,so close, that I can still hear the sounds. I can't sleep at all.
A few hours ago, at around 7:30 PM Indian standard time, in a place not far from my home, there was a terrible home invasion. A burglar (or burglars) entered a building and murdered 5 of the 6 people inside. They were all family members, two of them were children. I knew the father from church activities several years ago, a kind man. Among the people present, only the maid managed to escape with her life by locking herself in the bathroom, and one son survived this attack because he was out having dinner elsewhere.
This surviving son is
, a friend and founder of my group
I don't know what else to say. I'm in shock. One of the culprit(s) is already captured by the police, but the building where they're keeping him is surrounded by hundreds of furious people. They're still there. I can still hear their uproar, and it's enough to make me tremble.
I feel so sad for everything happening to a fellow deviant. I hope that you can spare some thoughts, and prayers too, if you can.
The funerals are now finished, and the murderer is in jail (seems it's only him, and he lied about there being other accomplices). Still no news of why he did it, I hope the police can give answers very soon. But everyone is still in grief and shock. In an area like my place, terrible murders are rare until recent years, which is very sad.
I hope you understand that I'm writing this to reach out into a bigger place where I can, which is here on deviantart, and it's something that's happened to a member of this site like us. I'm not trying to be depressing or anything, trust me
I hope that you can spare some prayers for our friend, or some deviantly support, if you're not a person of religion.
